THE FLOW FORMING PROCESS

Step 1 – A cast wheel is mounted to the flow forming drum and heat is applied.

Step 2 – Hydraulic rollers stretch the wheel by applying pressure to to the barrel.

Step 3 – The wheel’s material is stretched and compressed to achieve the desired width.

Step 4 – Stretching the barrel material improves the grain structure of the aluminum, making a stronger and lighter barrel, similar to a forged wheel.

Bridging the gap between our forged wheel customization process and cast wheel affordability. Vossen will custom CNC your wheels to virtually any desired bolt pattern, center bore and offset with the highest precision and efficiency.

With nearly unlimited combinations of bolt patterns, offsets and center-bore offerings, Vossen’s Custom Tailored Program makes it possible to outfit nearly any make and model vehicle to achieve the function and fitment you feel will best suit your vehicle.

3. SELECT A FINISH

Choosing from several custom finish options, Vossen provides a powder coat palate in an array of colors to best suite your vehicle’s appearance- all crafted and produced in Miami, FL USA.
